I haven't updated in a long time

Gearbox Software

I recently accepted an offer to work at Gearbox Software as a level designer very soon. Not too long ago I visited for the 5 hour-long interview and had a lot of fun. I'll be moving to the Dallas, TX area soon after my trip to China (which is happening in a few weeks).

But Borderlands is coming out very, very soon and it's looking very awesome. You should definitely buy it for it's originality, replayability, style, and spunk.

Oh, and I'm still working on my L4D project but it has now grown into a full-fledged campaign. You can check out the details on the ModDB page and keep up with my updates here:

Audio Interview with Planet Phillip!

Phillip from Planet Phillip has recently interviewed me about my latest mod release, Provenance. We talk about a variety of subjects while lightly sticking to the point of the mod.

The volume can be whack at times but excuse me! I was nervous as I tried to digest my thoughts clearly.

Left 4 Dead Survival level: Black Friday

No more formal e-greetings. This is a serious website. Where serious people come to see what I'm up to. I'm kidding. Nobody visits this website.

Here's that mall level converted and upgraded for L4D! Besides all of the obvious changes and updates, there are new areas and shops! Well, the idea is that it'll be a Survival mode map where locked shop gates open after a certain time of staying alive. Like, written in hand-smeared blood under a 'Buckshot Bill's' shop sign will read '1:00' and in it will be pump shotguns for everyone! Note that the shop signs are placeholders at the moment.

Oh, and before some screenshots, my mod Quiver, the one about the Half-Life 1 alpha, has been receiving a few updates recently. Check it out. http://www.moddb.com/mods/quiver1

A short test map with a 4 day build limit:

I'm not talking to you

I've migrated my old website to Drupal in preparation of Provenance's release and a soon-to-be URL. Most potential employers don't dig the 'Phallus' part of the Palace. I know there's nobody on the other side nor is anybody going to be interested in this, but, for your information, this website is still going through it's cosmetic phases. And it's fun to update when it only takes a few clicks now.

Provenance is doing awesome. I tend to faze-out and try to finish detailing-up an area when I shouldn't be, time-wise, but it's pretty cool. Roaches crawling around the walls and floors, flies grazing around limping scientist zombies, catwalk wires snapping off to a cold and bubbly 'KABLOOSH.'

Fuck. I think I became one of those 'bloggers' who talks to himself on the Internet and enjoys it.

Pixel-by-pixel

This place is slowly being updated as a free-time, nothing-left-to-do-but-try-to-feel-productive bore zone. Yeah, that's right. Updating this doesn't quite hit 'thrilling.' I just put up some more stuff on the Maps page and am trying to recollect my old and random .vmf files for the Screens page. It's as fantastic as filing files in a filing cabinet.

I guess this website is officially 'up'

Yep. Take a look around. I'll still be updating the stuff section with new maps, pictures and other junk. Maybe even some tutorials for things like VMPI. Just keep in mind that some things like header graphics haven't been completed yet.
